TSO Composers Project

Ansel Luk (Year 11) attended the finals of the TSO’s Composer’s Project for 2019 on Saturday. He was selected as one of the final four composers who had submitted their works. As a result, he was invited to have his work recorded and performed by members of the TSO. What an amazing opportunity!
His piece was titled “The Hedberg Trio” in relation to the new headquarters of the Tasmanian Conservatorium which is under construction – this was the theme of the compositions.
The concert presenting these final performances was held on Saturday afternoon, where Ansel introduced his adventurous and compelling work with confidence.
